How to create a 360º photo on Facebook
Virtual reality is the next big thing. But all the tech coming out is expensive, hard to find, and difficult to use.
Well we’re here to tell you that there is a way to test out VR for your business.
The best part? It’s fast, easy and free!
And here’s what you need:
- An iPhone
- A subject
- The Facebook App
All you have to do is flip open the camera on your iPhone and slide to the photo option for Panoramic photo. Snap a pano by holding your phone vertically and twisting at your waist. Try to keep the arrow tip pointed at the center line by adjusting the height at which you hold your phone. This will make the 360 degree look cleanest when it is scrolled through.
The next step is to open your Facebook app and go to post/publish. Select photo and look through your recents to select your panoramic photo. You’ll see a little globe icon imposed on your preview image for the photos that will function as a 360 pano.
The next step is just to add your caption, hashtags, emojis, demographics, targeting, etc! Then just post!
When displayed on your followers’ newsfeeds, they will be able to scroll side to side to view your photo in 360 degrees just as you captured it!
This quick tutorial is the easy way of capturing virtual reality to show your friends and followers. Stay tuned for future hacks in the social media and tech world!
