We have reviewed a few wood cases in the past and the one negative thing we have about cases made of complete wood is they would fall apart. What makes Prink Technologies different than the rest is they make their cases combined with a plastic shell and a Wood finish. These cases also include an adhesive front cover that matches the wood finish of the case. These carefully designed cases are made for the Apple iPhone 4/4S, iPhone 5/5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 6/6S and iPhone 6/6S Plus and also comes in 3 different types of wood; bamboo, cherry or walnut wood sourced through a certified member of the Forest Stewardship Council.

Better Than The Competitors?

We like the Prink Technologies case better than other wood cases we have reviewed in the past because they are more durable and can withstand more than cases made of complete wood. Like we said, these cases are made by combining a plastic shell with Prink’s custom wood finish by making the case with both a wood finish and having a protective plastic cover; it allows the case to have a more protective design for both the front and back. We like this because when cases are made out of only wood they scratch easy, dent, and when moister is in contact with the case it can tend to fall apart.

Aside from the cases being made for quality, they are also made with great design. They have over 30 different style cases for Apple iPhones alone. Each one being just as unique as the next. They also make cases for other products such as tablets, sunglasses, pens and much more!

Forest Initiative

Another reason to choose Prink Technology cases over the others is they care about the environment. Because they use wood to create their cases, they want to give back to the environment. They have a program called “The Forest initiative”, which is a program that takes the proceeds from every bamboo or wood product sold and goes toward planting of another trees in communities throughout the United States.

Overall, we liked this case more than the other wood cases we have reviewed in the past. They are made with quality materials so you can feel safe that your money will go a long way and it will also always protect your phone.
